Morgan D’Arcy: A Vampyre Rhapsody

MorganDArcyAVampyreRhapsody_w10500_medI received rewrites on this collection of short stories and am reading through to see if there are any changes I want to make before letting it go.  As writers here, I don’t know if you have as hard a time letting go of your “children” as I do.

Here is the blurb for the collection which will be published by The Wild Rose Press.  My very first editor accepted and edited the Black Rose Rosebud.

BLURB:

“I am Morgan Gabriel D’Arcy, an English lord, and in this incarnation, a renowned concert pianist. I am breaking every rule of my species to reveal that I’m a viral mutation of human DNA…a vampire. Accompany me on a journey through my long past—tales of many times and many loves.”

~~~~~~~~~
Devil’s Waltz – An outbreak of anthrax in Andorra kills vampires by reverting them to mortal.  If a certain scientist can discover why this occurred, Morgan may be able to regain his humanity…or be destroyed with the rest.
Sunrise, Sunset:  A beautiful witch offers Morgan one safe day in the sun if he’ll do her bidding, an assassination.
 Night Moves:  Morgan cannot resist the girl in the bar. The feeling is mutual, so, of Morgancourse, he takes her home. This encounter proves to be a one night stand he’ll never forget.
Intermezzo:    Britain has a new National secret—synthetic plasma. Lucien St. Albans, nemesis, best friend, and Chief Councilor of the Vampyre, assigns Morgan the task of proving that the Minister of Agriculture is the traitor attempting to sell this revolutionary discovery.
Happy Friday–counting down to Christmas!  Get that shopping done. (Smile)
