It’s a Teddy Bear Picnic!

I am still in Ireland with very spotty Internet, but wanted to share a fun holiday that’s celebrated in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

Today is National Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day! (Yes, really!)

Fun fact: the Teddy Bear was named after the American president, Theodore Roosevelt, Jr.So, how do you celebrate? Well, pack up the kids, your loved ones, your favorite Teddy Bears, and, of course, a picnic!  I’d love to read your comments regarding favorite foods you’d pack for this special picnic.

Find the nearest park and enjoy!

And remember it’s a Christmas in July sale! Enter to win a copy of my sweet novella, A Snowy White Christmas during the Amazon Giveaway. No purchase necessary!

Readers are saying:

A SNOWY WHITE CHRISTMAS is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters and get caught up in their lives. I can easily see this wonderful novella becoming a Hallmark Movie. Once I started reading I could not put this heart warming story down. Josie Riviera gives you such a well-written story of Margaret and Fernando that you can’t help but feel as if they are old friends of yours as you are reading. I can not wait to read more by this wonderful author.”

And, announcing pre-orders for Seeking Patience, my inspirational novel set in Regency England, and a sale! The ebook will be released everywhere on August 2nd. Now through August 9th, it’s on sale for $2.99 (regularly $3.99).

Readers are saying:

“This Regency romance had an emphasis on Gypsy culture. I’ve never read a book about Gypsies before, and I found that aspect of the story fascinating. Another thing I enjoyed was the lovely descriptions this book contained. For instance, “The afternoon faded into streaks of orange as the sun lowered, wrapped in a scarf of amber”. There were several phrases in this book that I thought sounded like poetry.”

If you aren’t the pre-order type, no worries. I’ll send a reminder email once the book goes live. If you just can’t wait, grab it here.

Happy reading!

Fried chicken, potato salad, pork&beans…for starters. My Mom always packed these dishes for our picnics. This occasion would call for a Teddy bear. Thanks for sharing! Linda
