Sale Shopper

I admit it, I can’t resist a sale! The word clearance makes me stop and look. Last chance catches my eye, too. Fortunately for me, the reduction must be spectacular and the item on sale must be useful for me.  Yesterday I had to stop at Walgreens and grab a few things. I had in mind to get 3 items and head home to edit. I have been editing more than 200 pages a week this summer. I have projects to complete as soon as possible, like before the kids get back to school and need tutoring (I hope).

Back to Walgreens! If you have allergies or your sinuses dry you might have used this product. I have instructions to put salt in water and sniff it 3 times a day to moisten my sinus. It is good for pain  – causing pain ! The salt and water mixture burns like crazy! This spray doesn’t burn,  but 4 boxes? These 4 boxes cost the price of 1. I call that a good deal!

I spotted this back cushion.  It was more than 75% off! Hmmm, I needed a new one for my rocking chair and one for my car. I’ve worn out both cushions for the rocking chair I LOVE and the back cushion in my car.  I didn’t even notice this was for a wheelchair. Guess what? I don’t care! It doesn’t match my chair, I don’t care, I already have cushions that don’t match.

I won’t make you read my list of sale items, but I found several allergy season products on drastic sales and grabbed them.

Coming soon, sampler books with sample chapters from novels, some of my books are these

Have you grabbed your copy of Of Mountains and Mysreries?

I knew you would appreciate that!

  3. I love a sale, too, but I try to curb my enthusiasm, unless it is clothes or shoes, then I’m in the checkout line.

I try not to look at clothes and shoes! But I only buy them on sale!
