A Holiday Coffee Recipe from an Italian Grandma

Am I the only one who loves all thing Italian? I doubt it! 🙂

Hope you also love this delicious and easy spiced coffee recipe, perhaps with a holiday cookie, or when reading one of my sweet holiday romances.

This is an Italian recipe from my hometown of upstate New York.

2 cups water

1 tblsp. brown sugar

2 three-inch cinnamon sticks

peel of 1 orange

1/4 tsp. whole allspice

1 tblsp. instant coffee

Combine all ingredients except coffee in saucepan; heat to boiling. Strain and pour over coffee. Stir when coffee is dissolved. Serve with twist of lemon peel or cinnamon stick.

While you’re sipping a cup of spiced coffee, let me offer a couple of sweet romance holiday books to relax with and enjoy! Readers are saying these books read like Hallmark movies!
