Hello, I’m Linda Nightingale. Welcome to my page. I retired last February from a career as a Legal Assistant to write full-time, then accepted a position as Content Strategist with an advertising agency to write copy. I love my job! I work in my robe and slippers.
Something of a gypsy (actually nothing quite so romantic!), I was born in South Carolina, I’ve lived in England, Canada, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta and Houston. I’ve seen a lot of this country from the windshield of a truck pulling a horse trailer. For many happy years, I bred, trained and showed the magnificent Andalusian horses. My stallion Alegre performing a rear at the Florida Renaissance Festival.
I have four novels published by Double Dragon Publishing, a fifth by The Wild Rose Press, and the sixth now in copy edits with The Wild Rose Press. I’ve won several writing awards, including the Georgia Romance Writers Magnolia Award.
I have two wonderful sons, both of whom I adore. I enjoy events with my car club, symphony, theater, reading and hosting formal dinner parties. Among my favorite things are my snazzy black convertible and my parlor grand piano.
Drum roll! Let me tell you about my books!
March Morgan still believes in true love, but her faith in finding her soul mate is slowly vanishing. She’s been married but never in love. So, it is a miracle to find that fantasy exists on the last page of a glossy women’s journal. Mayfair Electronics, Ltd., in black and white, offers Love for Sale. The London firm has engineered sentient androids indistinguishable from humans. She flies to England and meets the man she has been searching for her entire life. Christian requires no programming to love March at first sight. He’s handsome, cultured…absolutely perfect…and a little different from the other androids. He has an unexpected independent streak. March signs on the dotted line, buying her dream man. They return to Houston, but soon her past and his future threaten their Happily Ever After—indeed their lives.
Gemini Rising was my first novel, and I never thought it would be published because of the controversial subject matter. Tag Line: “One man, one woman…one heart, one soul..only together can they be complete.”
All of my books are available in eBook and print on Amazon or at the publisher’s web site Double Dragon Publishing.
Love For Sale will be available from The Wild Rose Press.
My son created this dynamic cover!
Sinners’ Obsession is a sequel to Sinners’ Opera and Cardinal Desires is the Maggie Winner.
What Reviewers have said of my work:
“Poetic and beautiful…sophisticated…rich, tasteful air of sensuality… unique take on the too familiar vampire novel…welcome change, adding uncharted territory to a popular genre in need of new ideas. Characters are brilliantly penned, every detail…painted like a beautiful picture…addictive, exciting and grips you from the very first page. Morgan and Isabeau…could be placed in the same category as some of the most famous couples in romance history – Romeo and his Juliet, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy – and their romance plays out like one of Beethoven’s famous love letters.” … Cocktails and Books
