Of course!
Many thanks to fashion blogger, Grace, for sharing these fashion points for women over 50.
1. Maintain your dignity and toss out the shoulder pads. Stick with the classics—a navy or gray blazer, then add accessories such as a colorful scarf, shoes, purse, and earrings. The blazer can be worn over pants or a skirt. Other great blazer choices are chambray or white.
2. Cover up! That goes for your top and bottom and midsection.
Dresses should be no shorter than above your knees. Please, no mini-dresses. Think classical designs with small prints. Trench coats, turtlenecks, and A line skirts are always good.
3. Be gentle and muted. No print jeggings and cropped top! Subtle doesn’t mean boring—just tasteful and classy. Choose better fabrics and cuts for a better fit. And nothing too tight-fitted.
4. Lastly, no pigtails. And leave the bows to the under 10 crowd.

You mean I don’t have to go with the sparkle shirts or big flowers? Yay!

Just keep a few staples handy, Deb–a chambray and white blazer, etc. You can purchase over time and they’ll last forever.
