Happy Father’s Day!

I’m sharing a Father’s Day short, simple, but powerful inspirational quote from one of my favorite spiritual leaders,  T.D. Jakes.

“I want to congratulate all the men out there who are working diligently to be good fathers whether they are stepfathers, or biological fathers or just spiritual fathers.”

And it’s a Christmas in July sale! Snag a copy of my sweet novella, A Snowy White Christmas for only .99! Readers are saying:

A SNOWY WHITE CHRISTMAS is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters and get caught up in their lives. I can easily see this wonderful novella becoming a Hallmark Movie. Once I started reading I could not put this heart warming story down. Josie Riviera gives you such a well-written story of Margaret and Fernando that you can’t help but feel as if they are old friends of yours as you are reading. I can not wait to read more by this wonderful author.”

And, announcing pre-orders for Seeking Patience, my inspirational novel set in Regency England, and a sale! The ebook will be released everywhere on August 2nd. Now through August 9th, it’s on sale for $2.99 (regularly $3.99).

Readers are saying:

“This Regency romance had an emphasis on Gypsy culture. I’ve never read a book about Gypsies before, and I found that aspect of the story fascinating. Another thing I enjoyed was the lovely descriptions this book contained. For instance, “The afternoon faded into streaks of orange as the sun lowered, wrapped in a scarf of amber”. There were several phrases in this book that I thought sounded like poetry.”

My favorite memory of my dad was when I was 18. I received an album called Songs In The Key of Life by Stevie Wonder. I was in my room playing it on a Saturday afternoon when I looked up to see my Dad standing in the doorway. I asked if he needed me to do something. He said, “NO”. Just enjoying the horns on that song. The song was Sir Duke. So he came in my room and as we were listening to this album, I had the best conversation with my Dad ever. I learned that day that he played saxophone is high school. On Youtube they have the whole album and I played it today. I miss him so much but the album brings me great joy. I remember the time Daddy brought home a puppy so small it fit in his jacket pocket. We were thrilled.
