Are you happy? Studies have shown that happy people do the following every day:
- Pray or meditate
- Do one random act of kindness
- Exercise 30 minutes
- Write down 3 things they’re most grateful for.
- Write down one remarkable event that happened the day before.
Couldn’t be simpler! Happy people are truly an inspiration to others!

I have a journal I keep in which I list things that make me happy, write quotes that I find encouraging, put photos of people I admire, and record happy family moments. Knowing what is in the journal, all I have to do is look at it, and I smile!

I try to spend 10 minutes each day thinking about the people I love in my life and how grateful I am for and to them.

Great post, Josie. I do some of these things. I would add to it:
Hug a person you love.
Call your children.
Laugh at something.
Stop and admire a beautiful scene.

Joanne, I do what I love. I edit and tutor. That helps a lot. I do try to make people laugh, but mostly I just say what pops into my head. If I can laugh I feel better. Living alone makes some of the suggestions not so easy, but I don’t worry about being alone as long as I have wonderful friends.
